Cyril Michael Kornbluth (
July 23, 1923–March 21, 1958)
C. M. Kornbluth was an American science fiction author and member of the Futurians. He wrote under many pen-names, including Cecil Corwin, S.D. Gottesman, Edward J. Bellin, Kenneth Falconer, Walter C. Davies, Simon Eisner, and Jordan Park.
Kornbluth was one of the few people who read the entire Encyclopedia Britanica, one volume at a time and was able to remember everything he read. He used literature and story telling to explain the purpose, differing ways, arising problems, and the amazing unexpected - all as the karmic fate of man, and worked at pushing out the limits of the human imagination while at the same time grounding this in complex emotional tensions and competent conscious movement through both the strangest realities and the most common realities within time frames of constant movement.
