(February 8, 1688–March 29, 1772)
Swedenbor was a scientist, philosopher, mystic, political advisor, and investor. He knew the Comte de Saint Germain, but probably never met Casanova.
He published books on minerology, and wrote about combining philosophy with metalurgy, which, of course, spells out "Alchymy".
Also he wrote a talked about "The Infinite" as a discrete entity of which we are both a part and individuated from this part as well.
Also, he wrote extensively on anatomy and physiology, as well as studying the animal kingdom, both from a physiological and a mystical viewpoint.
People acknowledging his influence include: William Blake; John Chapman ("Johnny Appleseed"); Elizabeth Barrett Browning; August Strindberg; Ralph Waldo Emerson; Honore Balzac; Charles Baudelaire; Sheridan Le Fanu; Elizabeth BArrett Browning; Carl Jung; Helen Keller: and Jorge Luis Borges.
He spent his later years working on a Nebular Hypothesis and the Analysis of Dreams in the Human Mind.
