Alchemy: What The Hell Is Going On Here?

As previously mentioned, Alchemy is an elaboration of witchcraft and one of the parents of modern science and modern psychology. Here we deal with modern psychology only, as modern science is beyond the scope of this writing.

Here follows, first explanation and quotation from Gods In the Making by T. Mawby Cole, followed by a modern language and modern format combined version of The Turba Philosophorum and The Golden Chain of Homer – 2 of the more accessible alchemical texts and a personal interpretation of many of the alchemical illustrations (from various texts) – most of which are a separate working language of Sexual-Dream-State-Power which is used as a working consciousness – physical, mental, and psychic tool.

[We are] “…concerned with questions, such as the following: What are the factors that determine our presence in the here and now in this moment of time and space? What is our relationship to everything around us? Is there a purpose for our existence, or are we brought into being by blind chance, how can we account for the fixity of law and order that exists in the Solar System?” (p.9)

This was the basis for the quest of the Alchemists – to find the basis for the creation of all mind and matter – and using what Nietzsche (in a general way) called “The Will To Power” and defined it as the primary motivation of all humanity – and thus, after finding this “Primal Basis” to control and use it in an evolutionary pattern of balanced and compassionate power. All of this had to be squeezed into a format of talking which would not be perceived as Christian heresy, because the punishment was torture and/or execution. So, bizarre uses of language were used, along with highly symbolic art forms which could be interterpreted as some for of biblical folklore.

So what was the aim of accomplishment for these confusing realms of yoga? Could it be that it was the rediscovered and development of Ancient World and Pagan European forms of human use of power, long ago attacked, burned, murdered, and destroyed by the religious fundamentalists, who, under the command of Charlemagne, and later Popes Gregory the Great and even later Pope Innocent II, Henry Sprengler, Henry Institorius, and Innocent VIII, tried to wipe out even an interest in such ideas, et alone various and all pagan knowledge that might remain, even in children’s folk-tales? The answer is Yes.

“Is the story of life the story of unfoldment of consciousness, from Mineral to Man, and from Man on to the Superman and Gods? If, so then everything is in a state of becoming, of fluidity, of growth, and of unfoldment. If so, this would explain the purpose of existene, not only of all that manifests on this planet, but also of all that exists in this Universe.” (p. 11)

Why would anyone not want to investigate these questions? And why would anyone not want to use the answerswhich may be obtained? The answer lies in an application of two very forceful quotes of Frederick Nietzsche.

First, he states the major problem which has to be accepted and used:

The “thing-in-itself” is a nonsensical concept. If I remove all the relationships, all the “properties”, all the “activities” of a thing, nothing remains. Thingness has only been invented by us to fit the requirements of logic. In other words, with the aim of defining, of communication.

Then he describes the anti-cultural group which has made many attempts to “stop”, “control”, “destroy”, and “hide” the abilities of discovery, knowledge, self-fullfilment, democratic power, and the legitimate uses of psychology, witchcraft, magick, yoga, meditation, science, art, economics, and all media.

“Christianity [exceptions may be made for certain mysticisms and gnostic attitudes – CS] comes to an end destroyed by its own morality (which cannot be replaced), a morality which in the end is forced to deny even the existence of its own God. The sense of truthfulness, so highly developed by Christianity, becomes sickened by the falsehoods and mendacity of all Christian interpretations of the world, and of history. It rebounds from “God is Truth” to the fanatical faith “All is false.”

So what major starting point for alchemical “yoga” and “magick” was so anathema to Classic Christianity and the other two Abrahamic religions, and, at the same time, so important as the fundamental structure of the Alchemists process for consciouness and physical discovery?

Here we can go back to T. Mawby Cole:

In the Human Life Cycle, there are two degrees of pattern. The great pattern of the Human Race as a whole – or the pattern of the collectivity – and the individual life pattern of each of us as we make an individual contribution to the design of the greater pattern. These two patterns are interdependent, and the purpose of each Monad [ = an indestructible unit ] within the great Life Cycle is to transform the comparatively inchoate, outpouring of Spirit into conscious units of the Infinite, each with an individual pattern. This purpose can only be fulfilled in its entirety by the unfoldment of the potentiality in each Monad – that is, in ourselves. In exactly the same way, the greatest pattern of all – that of the Infinite – can be fulfilled though the fulfillment of all the multidinous life cycles which are integral parts of the whole.

The great purpose then, appears to lie behind all manifestations of life, whether these be subhumans, human, or superhuman, is the unfoldment of individual potentiality, in order that: the potentiality of the Infinite may be unfolded.

For as the part unfolds, so must the Infinite unfold.”

The Alchemists knew that the greatest heresy of all would be to insist that humanity held in its own mind and body, all that is necessary to push human evolution forward – AND that in each step of human evolution, humans faced the paradox of both greater diversity and greater containment of diversity with a greater and unknown similiarity, which was defined in much early historic and prehistoric periods by such words as “The Philosophic Stone” and “Coven”.

“The creative force of man lies in the Abstract Mind, and it is through this mind that we are able to make contact with that which is still unmanifested. The Abstract Mind is linked with the Universal Mind, and in the Universal Mind lies unlimited potentiality seeking to manifest itself through those who can act as channels for its expression.

Only so far as creative genius have succeeded in establishing this link has the Universal Mind been able to function through them and to give to the world such things as Art, Literature, Science, Music.

Only so far as we ourselves succeed in establishing this link can the Universal Mind express through us those things which are as yet unmanifested.”

“TO what extent can we, as individuals, use the creative power within ourselves which corresponds to the creative power of the Infinite?

The Turba Philosophorum Interpreted Into Modern Analytic Language:

4th Dictum:
Visualize an egg inside of which 4 separate things are conjoined:
• The visible cortex or shell containing all the force of the Planet Earth.
• A very thin inner white layer of Air – the Outer layer of this Air is light-weighted, while the inner layer of this Air is heavy-weighted. This Air layer in toto is an interface between the Outer Earth Shell and an Inner Water Shell.
• Inside the water shell is an ovoid center of pure Fire.

19th Dictum:
• Visualize the Inner Water as the Permanent Life-Giving Blood of All Things.

5th Dictum:
• Note that we cannot see All of our Sunlight at any one given time.

20th Dictum:
• Meditate that Pure Volitility Itself, contains within Itself Absolute Permanenency and that this lies within the Heart or Core of the Sun within the Egg.

7th Dictum:
• Visualize that there is information available to humans which is both accessabble and beyond all forms of reason. Indicate to yourself that this information’s pathway is that of visualizing a sweet and pleasing scent within your own body, and then within your own mind.

• If you withdraw the visualization of the Sun from Our Sky, you will begin to see Darkness. This Darkness A Light On Its Own terms. Investigate this Light.

• Visualize that all your energy is sealed within your body.

13th Dictum:
• Through Meditation perceive directional movement within this Darkness. Let your consciousness ride this movement until you begin to see a white glowing object in the far distance and move your perception and consciousness towards this white glowing orb. This glowing orb is the light, which surrounds the Moon’s light. It is called the Spume of the Moon. Visualize this as liquid air being placed inside the Water Layer of the Egg. Visualize the entire egg hardening and then being gently, very gently and with great care, fractured into many pieces of extreme glowing multicolored light sending out either straight pointed rays (for major effects) or a series of out-going bubbles (for lesser effects). In either case visualize the “lights” moving out and into the universe in all directions.

16th Dictum:
• Visualize a chunk of Lead dissolving in a container of Apple Vinegar.

• Visualize the pale color and all its subtleties, sparkles, glowings, etc.

• Visualize its container disappearing and this dissolved subtle mixture infused into a grease-like substance where it becomes unchangeable.

• Visualize that it is pounded upon by a continuous rain of early morning dew, sunlight, sea water (salt water), and gentle rain.


• Visualize this process going through a flurry of changes from stone to metal and from metal to stone, until you see it as Gold.

• Visualise a gold substance shinning and moving and continuously changing shape until you are convince that you see the Supra-Human Male Energy Form and the Supra-Human Female Energy Form at first Conjoined and then Merged.

21st Dictum:
• Meditate on changing all Internal Forms of Masculinity into Flexible Water – water that can be contained within an unchanging fluid wave form and flexed and bent, etc.

• Meditate on changing all Internal Forms of Feminity in a Clear Glowing Air Vapour (both the Heavy Vapour and the Light Vapour) contained within an Unchanging Cloud-Form.

• Now visualize that you mould the Flexible Water into the inside of the Clear Glowing Air Vapor

25th Dictum:
• Note that All Bodies become Not Bodies and the Incorporeal and Corporeal Forms continue to switch places within a vibrator pattern.

• Know that No Body can change its own power and/or self , unless its Spirit can be extracted through its own area known as The Secret Belly, which is not a stomach but instead is the Source of Energy Absorption. In other words: In any living body, the source of Energy Absorption and the Source of Energy Dispersal are Identical.

• Remember that Nature Rejoices Within Nature and that Nature Rejoices Directly As Itself.

29th Dictum:
• Meditate upon the fact that Nature is not improved upon by Nature, only that Nature Itself Simply Improves. There is no such thing as “foreign matter”.

36th Dictum:
• Meditate on the Source of Water Without Clouds. Meditate that this is a Permanent Water which comes from the same source as that source which make the Sun give off Light and the same source which allows Dark Light to co-exist with Sun-Light. Meditate on Paradox as being at the Core of All Knowledge, and that the Greatest Paradox of All is that this is No Paradox as well.

41st Dictum:
• Meditate that all Elements and all Sub-Elements, and all Life Forms and all Consciousness are spontaneously created from Nothing, because Nothing Itself, is a Life Form.

• Understand that Time, Itself, is only the observation by Life of Life. It has no independent existence.

43rd Dictum::
• All Elements have their own form of consciousness and self-awareness. It is very different that of any being who exists as a carbon-based flesh being.

45th Dictum:
• Platon said: “It behooves you all, O Masters, when those bodies are being dissolved, to take care lest they be burnt up, as also to wash them with sea water, until all their salt be turned into sweetness, clarifies, tinges…for the spirit being separated from the body can become volatile. Therefore the Wise have said that the gate of flight be not opened for that which would flee (or that which does not flee)…..” spirit must be iterated from body to body, “…like unto the bodies from which it was extracted….”

• “Know, also that Nature overcomes Nature, Nature rejoices in Nature, Nature contains Nature”…but again, Nature is not improved upon by Nature. Nature is a moving balance, incredibly subtle and obviously infinite. It contains all possibilities at once.

51st Dictum:
• Visualize that“…every body is dissolved with the spirit with which it is mixed, with which without doubt it becomes a similar spiritual thing, and that every spirit which has a tingeing color of spirits, and….” remains constant when directly with the Fire Element, is altered and colored by Embodiement. Thus, the process is to turn Embodiment (In-Breath) into either Disembodiement (Out-Breath – Form One) or into Formlessness (Out-Breath – Form Two), and then turn either Disembodiement or Formlessness into Embodiment, and to visualize and experience this as normal breathing.

57th Dictum:
• The embodiment of thought and image into matter within Mind Itself, is accomplished by experiencing the Male Human Spirit when residing with Our Sun being sexually coupled (in any of several sexual positions) with the Female Human Spirit when residing in Our Moon. And then visualizing all the sexual fluids of Man and Woman:
First: Merging together

I. Second: Becoming atomized or seen as a merged atomic and sub-atomic confluence

II. Third: Entering into the Specific Thought-Form, (already visualized)

III. Fourth: Watching the New Combination becoming Real within One’s Own Mind.

58th Dictum:
• The most difficult problem to avoid, is to let one’s own mind, start an endless chain of elaboration of images and interpretations. The symbols should be used only in a direct mental manner.

59th Dictum:
• Inside of every living flesh-formed body resides a singular odor – singular to the sprecies, singular to the sub-species, singular to one’s point of birth on the Planet Earth, and singular to the individual. Learn to directly enjoy this scent.

• “And know that when ancient priests did not condescend to wear artificial garments, whence for purifying altars, and least they should introduce anything into them sordid or impure…” they allowed through various herbal means they allowed their internal individual scent to enter into the outer space of the altar, and using the said procedures, used this scent as a carrier-wave for their self-created Thought-Form to encase or engulf the altar and anything directly on the altar, and to create a radiant force which can be experienced by all, but only seen through that part of the human mind which which can see Radiant Dark Light – the power for seeing same resides in a subconscious realm, itself engulfed within the right forward frontal lobe of the brain.

63rd Dictum:
• The conjoined Male and Female is called the body of Magnesia. It is only through this process that one can “wash” the blindness out of the true seeing of Dark Light.

64th Dictum:
• Look into the very being of the most common things for true miraculous insight and for a loving convergence of the attitudes within the left middle frontal lobe of the brain.

67th Dictum:
• When we work in the Darkness of our Mind:

I. First: It becomes appearing more Dark. This can be compared to the Delta Sleep State Brain Waves, although, only partially on the same level of understanding.

II. Second: Then we see into the Darker Dark and as we awaken to this, it can be compared to the Hindu idea of Turiya (The 4th State) which is an eternal form of consciouness.


• Some words are words of Dark Light. Some words are words of “White” Light.

Conclusion:
• Do Not be deceived by a multiplicity of names, symbols, formats, and forms. See all of these things as One Single Territory of Life.

Imagine You Are Light

Whatever one plants firmly in the mind Becomes the essential thing.

or if you wish your intention to be true, imagine you are light.
All around you - in every corner and on every side is - is light.
Turn to you right and you fill find shining light, in your left, splendour, a radiant light. Between them up above, the light of the Presence.
Surrounding that, the light of life.
Above it all, a crown of light [called Kether – Primordial Original Energy & Force]- crowning the aspirations of thought, illumining the paths of imagination, spreading the radiance of vision,
