I. INVOCATION ONE:
1. Poem
In the period 700 BC, the Mileian Prince Amergin wrote a statement of personal being. It became known as “Amergin’s Riddle”. It has been translated before, however the translators spent little or no effort actually looking at and considering the earliest root meanings of the actual words they were translating. So while the translation was literally correct, the meaning was literally obscured to such a degree as to be literally wrong. Supreme Generational Multi-Level Forcere follows a highly probably reconstruction of what Amergin originally said. It is a statement of individuality which will always be true in any time or place.
I am wind which breathes upon sea.
I am the rise and subside at beginnings of ocean.
I am the low always sound of happening water.
I am the seven fought ox.
I am the eating bird for dead flesh, up upon the rocks.
I am light thrown single from the sun.
I am the clearest of all perfect Herbs for planting.
I am the wild boar and equal courage.
I am the red and silver fish, spotted red, black spotted, leaping in the waters.
I am smaller water inside the land.
I am the land itself.
I am the exact speaking of all knowings.
I am the smallest place between the points of battle spears.
I am the what, that is invoked.
I am the images within all fires.
Who is the who of all time?
Who works to cast down all unknowing?
Who with their eyes meets all mountains?
Who gently takes the knowing from Our Moon’s Open Gift?
Who asks all to Help in understanding that great open place,
Where hangs the hangless Sun?
If not I? If not I? If not I?
And what is I, but that which is within All?
INVOCATION ONE:
2. Poem
During the Dark Ages in Britain, an Anonymous Anglo-Saxon poet wrote the following poem. It has been rewritten according to the same method as the rewriting of Amergin’s Riddle.
It is a Charm rather than a Spell. It is a love song to Our Planet rather than any personal request to Our Planet. And finally, it is an Invocation to use the Actual Magic of Our Earth (Erce) in Our Actual Speaking and Conversation.
Erce! Erce! Erce!
Sacred Mother – The One Earth!
May all greatest powers grant to Us,
Only as The Keepers of the Powers
Of Compassionate Wisdom.
See acres Moon waxing,
With sprouts wantoning,
Fertile,
Brisk Creations Everywhere,
Stores of Gleaming Harvest,
And Broad Lands glowing in their Own Growth.
Grant we the Owers,
All Force
And All Hallows
In all space beyond
Our Circling Clouds,
May Our Winds still love us fully
And may the Space beyond the Clouds
Be Supreme Generational Multi-Level Forcealing to us all in all the times.
While we protect you,
We ask your greater fully protection against
The fiends,
Against each one.
And may the protection be guarded always
By circle guarding on all sides in all times,
Against all things bad,
Against all blastings of every kind always
And everychone,
Which the Ugly Ones may
Through any land sow.
It is now I ask
In gentle strongSupreme Generational Multi-Level Forceart
That the wielder of all
Who formed the world of years,
Just the:
That there be none so cunning ever,
That there be no so crafty lurker ever now,
Who shall render weak and null,
All these words just now,
So Deftly Neatly Said!

5. Definitions of Key Words:
Without words, there is much less Magick…At one point in his life, William S. Burroughs believed that “the word” was/is a “mental” virus. Later, he quietly abandoned his original idea. But the Word does carry both ideas and raw power very much in the pattern of what is called “contagion” and when words are used for specific purposes of creating change and furthering evolution, it is called “invocation”, therefore the chosen title of this book is “Contagious Invocation”.
“The Word” is a force, which can be used correctly, thus releasing tremendous powers. Also it can be used incorrectly, thus creating trivial and serious problems; and not used at all, but merely allowing oneself to be at the effect of any random manifestation of “The Word” which can create confusion and danger.
During the period of at least the last 2006 years, in a largely, pan-cultural manner, we have been taught to be afraid of our own minds. Those who have taught this fear have taught us to limit our own thoughts in ways, forms, manners, rhythms, and patterns, that suit ignorance, powerlessness, and totalitarianism. Additionally, (as a bonus), these teachers have given additional focus upon “the necessity for” sexual repression.
And if all that is not enough, these teachers have promoted fantasized glory, and personifications of power based upon a sense of unlimited ownership of resources for a few.
All the while this is done, this promotion of ignorance, powerless, and sexual repression, is personified as our Planet’s “correct and compassionate order” – when it is neither.
This system make be likened to a closed revolving loop creating imagery, which elaborates this inhuman system by always making it appear new. Two-thirds of all television programs do this every day, every night, and every morning.
The first seeds of this “way of being” and resistance to it, first can be traced in The Book of Job (ca. 10,000 – 2600 BC), The Gilgamesh Epic (ca. 2100 BC), The Genesis Stories of Adam (“The Divine Man”), Eve (The Female Force which steals the Divine Immortality” from Man), The Serpent (The real sexual lover of Eve, the “True Forces of Nature = Power”, and the “Library Keeper of Knowledge”, the Apple (The Geographic or Specific” Entrance to this Library), The Tree of Knowledge, (where Knowledge Itself is now divided into “Good” and “Evil”), & Cain & Abel, (The “Necessity” of Violence and Warfare) ca.100 BC or earlier) where submission to this proclaimed eternal circle of elaborated guilt, shame, and fear, is offered up as “the sacrifice” necessary for people to be able to seek and find, relief from this internal fear. And the beat goes on into this present moment.
Word, Itself, in Wyche-Crafte has reached a very developed and high level of Being as well as just being read and/or used. Our cultures have used the attitude many times. The Tibetan Buddhists and Bonpo as well as the many of the Hindu groups, visualize sacred syllables of sound in their visual format – on, in, and around their bodies. These sacred syllables, in turn are related to different colored rays of light, etherical drops (as in “rain-drops”), and transcendental winds. Mantra that is a repeated statement with the sound and repetition of sound is more important than the actual logical meaning, also, is common in many cultures.
Finally, the Delphic Oracle and Apollonian as well as Bacchic and Dionysian Rites, used poetry to invoke Being in Supreme Positions, and Supreme Gods and Goddesses, as well as to alter situational reality, and “push” physically sexual, real embodied encounters from the totally physical realms of to the most advanced and abstract realms of learning. Gregorii Rasputin, used shamanic sung words, simultaneously using sexual energies to accomplish the same thing.
Unlike the monomorphic religions which include the monotheistic structures of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, as well as other Deistis formulations, the non-single-deity non-monomorphic ambiguities of later Theravadin and Mahayana and vajrayana Buddhisms, as well as Wyche-Crafte is not only polytheistic but also polymorphic.
To create one single definition of Wyche-Crafte would be as silly as trying to herd a group of invisible cats.
However, we can understand that Wyche-Crafte and most Pagan Spiritualities (including, Olympianism, Vajrayana Buddhism, Vodu/Ancestor Groups, Native American Spiritualities) are structured on the reality of Flow (see: the writings of Immanuel Kant, C. Howard Hinton’s The 4th Dimension, Carl Jung’s Mysterium Conjuntionis, & Mahalyi Czicksentmahailyi’s Using Flow,(as well as Sigmund Freud’s Totem and Taboo & Moses and Monotheism –and read between the lines) rather than on the illusion of one permanent, indestructable and unchanging structure.
The Monotheistic-Monomorphic Religions tend to base their actions on sexual rules (morals) and patristic vertical obedience structures and primogeniture in all public decisions and as a rather thoughtless way of creating social rules and regulations, having nothing to do with any deep understanding of Compassion, Wisdom, or Power, but having a lot to do with what Freud called Neuroses. To back up their claims, they usually have sacred books which are always the direct, unfettered word of Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force-Force, which disallows evolutionary growth of societies, sexualities, interplanetary knowledge, or any new information of any kind.
Thus, with Monomorphic Deity, we have a series of closed systems that are always in use in actuality (stagnating society) or in consciousness (neuroses and psychoses). Monotheists tend to pray for external Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force-helping power while downplaying their own powers and their own abilities to create power, and all of the is looked upon as humility, while it could just as easily be looked upon as arrogance. Often produced, is penance, guilt, and shame.
Sexuality and Birth are monopolized by a form of masculinity which dates back to the prehistoric Chimpanzees at about the time they started to have to search for tuberifous roots for sustenance. Out of these Societies of repressed sexuality, come violent warlike Tribes, which, ultimately partially or totally destroy their very own society (See Wilhelm Reich’s studies on the relationship of sexual repression and the rise of fascism). Monotheism tends to believe that Human Life has to be destroyed by the very Supreme Monotheistic Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force they worship and somehow the is a good thing.
“But much as man’s religion looked to a more ordered and symmetrical existence tomorrow, just so, upon another scale, man’s daily life seemed a continuous looking-forward to a terrestrial to-morrow. Kennaston could find in the past – even Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force, who was privileged to view the past in its actuality, rather than through the distorting media of books and national pride – no suggestion as to what, if anything, Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force was expected to do while Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force physical life lasted, or to what, if anything, the life was a prelude. Yet that to-day was only a dull overture to to-morrow seemed in mankind an instinctive belief! All life everywSupreme Generational Multi-Level Forcere, as all people spent it, was in preparation for something that was to happen to-morrow.”
- James Branch Cabell: The Cream of the Jest 1917
Basically, Monotheism fears Individual Death, and so, often they exteriorize the fear and in a form of secondary elaboration, they “outer” their own fear into some form of gang (tribal) violence or warfare.
The Polymorphic Spiritualities and Spiritual Groups, Clans, Covens, Etc tend to be very concerned with extending their own practical knowledge of Compassion and Wisdom, and also tend to follow and/or create Ethics. Polytheists tend to explore themselves to find their own exact power and combine it with the other powers in their own environment and in the Greater World of the Universe. Often produced is a relaxed ego, an eagerness to learn many different things, and an equal eagerness to enjoy all aspect of life which fall within the rubric of “Do No Harm”. Most polymorphic spiritualities maintain a “Live and Let Live” attitude and tend towards Pacifism and Social Equality. Polymorphism tends to express its own varied sexualities, and exteriorizes the as power for evolutionary change, and protection of what is, in life already.
“Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force [Zadig] terminated with the same happy address the grand dispute between the black and white magi. The former maintained that it was the Supreme Generational Multi-Level Forceight of impiety to pray to Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force with the face turned toward the east in winter; the latter asserted that Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force abhorred the prayers of those who turned toward the west in summer. Zadig decreed that every man should be allowed to turn as Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force pleased.”
- Voltaire: Zadig or Fate; circa
As funky as it may sound, the title of this book is, nevertheless, accurate, but as eccentric as I may be, I feel I should define the words accurately as these words are often used inaccurately or wrongly.
CONTAGIOUS
is from the Latin, contagio then the French contingere, meaning “to have contact with…”. In our current world, one of the main definitions is (3a.) “rapid communication of an influence (as in a doctrine, idea, and/or emotional state.”
INVOCATION:
is from the Middle English envoken, from the Middle French envoquer, from the Latin invocare, meaning to call or to call upon. In our current world, the main definitions are (1) to give voice as power; (2) to petition for help or support; (3) to appeal to [power, powers, authority, etc]; and (4) to conjure.
SURRATIONAL:
SUR is from the Middle English, from the Archaic French, from the Latin super, meaning over or above. This definition remains the same today.
RATIONAL is from the Middle English racionel, from the Archaic French racionel, from the Latin ration meaning (1) having reason or understanding, and (2) relating to, or based upon, or agreeable to reason.
Thus, Surrational should be and now is defined as anything perceived, perceivable, or subject to perception which is above the level of reason itself, and can be a birth-pattern for pure reason, ritual behaviours, and/or dreams and creativity – and – moves along the “surface” above all forms of reason and human perception, both inside and, simultaneously, outside of it.
Please Note:
Some writers, artists, and theorists claim that “surrational” is derived as follows: “sur” comes from “Surreal” and “rational” comes from “Irrational” and therefore means “the irrational presented in a surreal context”. Nothing could be further from the truth.
GRIMOIRE:
Is from the Middle English gramere, from the Archaic French graimaire or gramarye meaning learning, from the Latin grammatica; from the feminine Greek grammatike from the masculine Greek grammatikos, meaning of letters. Circa 1320, gramarye meant the learning of general things and the knowledge which that brings.to people putting them automatically into a higher social class.
It is interesting to not that the word grimoire comes from the same root as the modern English word glamour, originally meaning the popular association of erudition with occult (hidden) practices (1715); and a spell.
A grammer is a set of symbols representing language/communication/influence which is combined into sentences producing a more complex form of language / communication /influence, which is used to communicate even more complex forms of understanding and using understanding as a form of power and directly using power itself through rigid or flowing symbol and or sound.
SPELL:
Is from the Anglo-Saxon meaning discourse, fable, history, homily, message, news, personal observation, speech, statement, story and the Old English spell meaning story or speech, from the Old German spellan, the Old Norse spjiall, from the Old High German spel, from the Goth spill – all meaning a report, a discourse, or a tale. Also, there is the Gothic Spilla meaning a speaker who can hold the attention of an audience of people.
------add emailed Anglo-Saxon sheet.
INCANTATION:
Is from the Archaic French charme meaning incantation meaning a song or verse which enchants, from the Latin incantare meaning to chant words and sounds upon something. from canere meaning to sing in order to create influence on others
CHARM:
Is from the Archaic French charme meaning incantation, from the Latin carmen and meaning song or verse which enchants
WITCH:
MAGICK:
Is from the late 14th century Old French, magique meaning magical art, from the Latin magicus meaning magical art, from 1st century BC (Plutarchus) the feminine form of the Greek adjective magike techne meaning magical art, Is from the Ancient Greek adjective magos, anciently derived from Old Persian magus meaning a Zoroastrian astrologer of the Medes.
SORCERY:
Is from the Old French sorcerie, meaning the creation of fate, from the Vulgar Latin sortiarius meaning the manipulation of fate, from the Latin sors meaning fate with the implication that this fate has been influenced by someone. Sorceress appears first in the late 14th century, while sorcerer is traced back to only 1526.

5. Semiotics
BIRTH OF LANGUAGE AND SEMIOTICS:
AFTER THE “ORIGIN QUESTION” ARRIVED – “HOW DID OUR REALITY START?
Part A
IN THE BEGINNING: The Language of Stone Tool Making
The Recognitions of Extensions of Power:
The Primary Pre-Language on our earth was driven into being under the pressure of the recognition of physical movement itself and purely, as the primal experience, recognized [repetition of root word recognize, is completely deliberate] that sequential motion and time are linked and that if we watch this process "well-enough", we can see ourselves and do things, which we then compare with a later repeated experience. thus creating a sense of Other Within Oneself. One then dips in and out of these various recognitions. As these Recognition Moments occur more and more frequently, one begins to see a pattern called "Pattern Recognition of a Pattern or Patterns "collectively-in-moment, which coalesces into an Over-Pattern of Patterns, which to survive as such through mind alone, always will require the refoundationing through re-examination of the simpler and/or simplest patterns. Now the human mind was ready to not only communicate with Itself and Exterior Selves, but, further, to communicate to their Self and Others, the part of self (a recognition), which sees Itself as Other. This was the moment of First Time First Language.
The points of pressure for creating this situation were born from the direct percussion flaking of stone tools. Why? The act of making paleolithic (old stone age) tools was, perhaps, the most common experience of early mankind and certainly the most common experience of complex experience contains an easily observed pattern of synapse of images [the birth of motion pictures, perhaps]. linking time, motion, continuity and breaks in contenuity, one can observe oneslef doing something which has been done before and this same observation made the same way on repeated occasions, become an image of communication as much as any memory which feeds the image of communication , with reinforcement of color, form, movement, duration, sequence as well as create a layer of insulation between the complete reliving of the memory in question and the complete experience that this never happen [memory, itself, nonfunctional] - which means that We See Our Own Seeing.
And the paleolithic stone tools were the creatorial tool for engraving, cuting, and placing marks which symbolized that The Self and with Group of Self had communicated. The Proto Pre-Language had externalized the Selfs' Memory-of-Self-for-that Exact-Moment.
At the time of happening of this whole "Recognitions Structure", Primary Language was born.
Part B
THE PRIMARY LANGUAGE
Begin with mankind's control of fire, by 500,00 BC. Then almost a quarter of a million years later, Homo Erectus becomes the flint-chipper. She/he created the eolith or Acheulian blade (the term Abbevillian blade is used for the same tool when found in Europe) in Egypt area circa. 250,000-300,000 BC. = hand axe. This tool was the first consciously recognized conscious extension of man's mind and body. The breaking forth of conscious recognition began with the mousterian pebble tool circa 500,000 BC when the instinct for mechanical advantage had become fully active, probably from the various actions of using old bones, pieces of organic material like sticks and branches, etc. But the modern leap to technology began with the second hand tool (the acheulian blade (not the mousterian pebble tool) because the instinct plus other indeterminate factors had lead to CONSCIOUS RECOGNITION OF THE EXTENSIONS TO GREATER POWER and this conscious realization led to awe and fear - their variations being 1.) awe, 2.) fear, 3.) awe and fear together.
Man needs for different classes of tools:
1.) Tools which are moved along the axis of their working edge logitudinally.
Most of the time their functioning is on a vertical plane. Examples: saws;
knives.
2.) Tools which are moved perpendicularly to the axis of their working edges,
transversely. Most of the time their functioning is one a horizontal plane.
Examples: chisels; scrapers; gouges; planes.
3.) Tools which are used to make perforations. Examples: hole-punches; drills;
spears; needles.
4.) Tools which are used by percussion for various purposes. Examples: hammers;
hand axes; choppers; cleavers.
In ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, the earliest known word for "supreme-and-only-god" is NTR (NETER) which also means HAND AXE. This hand axe was an all purpose tool somewhat like the "Popil Pocket Fisherman" knife of the 1960s and 1970s. Now, it is generally accepted that the Old Stone Age or Paleolithic Era was the time when stone tools were made exclusively by the direct percussion of flint and other forms of stone. And although, the dates vary from place to place, this is the universal first step of mankinds technological development.
Tools and Gender Specialization:
Generally, it is assumed that while men were hunting for food, women were giving birth, preparing food, cleaning (in their own terms), and repairing the worn and damaged stone tools, and creating new ones. No later than at this point can we claim the divergent (and thus creatiion) of what we may call ORIGINAL MALE AND FEMALE CONSCIOUSNESS. The first division of labor might be:
Primary sophistication fragmenting undifferentiated survival sense of technique into:
MEN developing survival techniques OUTSIDE OF ENCLOSURE, which would include hunting long distances, primal geography, greatest observation of other species, food gathering, search for shelter, search for and capture of friendly and compliant same species males and females toexpand the tribal family, and/or because of some personal attraction (conscious level) and to maintain genetic diversity (unconscious level), and solar, lunar, and stellar navigation (primal astronomy), vertically structured social organization, and the primal acceptance of "things as they are" through the complete religious acceptance and religiosity of the directpercussion stone blade as the earthly realization of REAL POWER.
WOMEN developing survival techniques INSIDE OF ENCLOSURE which would include hunting short distances (looking for lost objects, seeds, sprouts, etc), environmental observation (the sky, the relation of weather to plant growth and water cycles), the selecting of wild grasses for nutrient value (primal nutrition),growing plants (primal agriculture),creation of designed clothing (spining, weaving, sewing, dyeing), keeping track of things-objects, growing rhythms, childbirth (primal mathematics), primal art and design ( from the tension between the urge to know more and primal mathematics), the varied use of sexual diversity (multiple partners) to maintain hegemony with the more warlike vertically socialized male (conscious level) and to maintain genetic diversity (unconscious level), horozontally structured social organization, and the primal acceptance of orderly, birth of new ideas, rebirthof ideas and form, through the indeterminate yet complete religious acceptance and religiosity of the continual polishing and creation of new specificities for the stone tool created by direct percussion, indirect percussion, grinding, polishing, and redesigning the stone tool as the earthly realization of REAL POWER.
Between 290,000 BC and 140,000 BC, the earth was inhabited by perhaps as few as 50,000 humans.
Were there any other possible factors of possible development directly related to stone tool making?
The Microlith: (or miniature/very small stone or flint tool) first appeared in the Magdalenian culture (the Europe Upper Paleolithic Period) and even earlier levels of the Upper Paleolithic Period (30,000 BC to 10,000 BC). These microliths varied in size from a half inch to two inches, they were designed to be either used in a stand-alone fashion for some very specific purpose or they were mounted in groups on or along the edges of various wood or bone implements.
Microliths were manufactured from very small blade nuclei, sometimes no more than half an inch in length. These were worked with a punch and a hammer. Sometimes they were worked with using different kinds of direct pressure. Later, a method was devised of fragmenting larger blades by using a notching technique, which some anthropologists call the micro-burin technique.
It has been computed that more than three hundred feet of cutting edge can be obtained from two pounds of flintwhen using these two pounds exclusively for manufacturing microliths.
The manufacture of microliths began before the end of the Pleistocene Period and it became much more widespread in post-glacial times in The Old World. Japanese microliths have been found dating to approximately 10,000 BC. Although difficult to date, microliths from Southern India probably date back to 4,000 BC. Australian microliths have been found dating to 3,000 BC. South Africa was the last area to begin manufacturing microliths and this was very late, being approximately 1000 BC. Very few microliths have been found in southern China and Southeast Asia and their actual dates are very uncertain.
Also, it is certain, that during the Upper Paleolithic Period, there was a marked increase in the specific variations and specializations with stone blade tools.
One can view the development and spreading use of the microlith as mankind's first attempt at miniaturization and the original vision which carried some 30,000 years into our present has led to the development of both the microchip and the "motherboard".
As time passed, this configuration became deeply ingrained within the male and female cycles of communication. At those points where there was a mutual acceptance and understanding, there was the beginning, continuation, and development of human civilization. At those point where there was either no mutual acceptance or there existed mutual confusion, there was created ongoing personal and collective trauma within the actual event creation process and within the development (on all levels) of the human civilization itself.
For this situation to end through resolution, there had to be a point of total emotional, rational, environmental, intuitive, and mystical convergence. Until the inauguration speech of President John F. Kennedy, the opportunity did not present itself. On that day, he made the clear statement that the human race led by America was to put at least one of its own species on the Moon by the end of the decade. In effect, he declared the human race's committment to explore the universe, which completely redefined mankind's known and expected future relationships with dimension itself. Also, it destroyed the geocentric attitude - the attitude that we are only earthlings and we are rooted or stuck on this one particular planet for all of eternity. By 1970, the human race had landed several of its own kind on the Moon. "One small step for man, one giant step for mankind" (Astronaut Neil Armstrong).
During the 1950s and especially the period 1959-1963, there was a highly controlled and well-funded exploration of "inner space" or "Consciousness expansion" through the testing of psychotropic or psychedelic drugs on animals and humans as well as laboratory analysis of a number of naturally growing plants (many containing tryptamine) which were thought to have mind altering properties. Such people as Dr. Humphrey Osmond, Dr. Herman Colomb and Dr. Timothy Leary, as well as R. Gordon Wasson, Richard Evans Schultes, and others were conducting these test. Believed to have been begun in the early 1950s, The United States government had maintained a secret program called MK-ULTRA which conducted a series of on-going tests with psychedelics.
Thus in approximately a quarter of a million years, humanity had progressed from the first basic tools and a self-imposed learning imperative which was fundamental to his/her consciousness, had mentally divided itself into a highly defined consciousness of male and female gender, developed sophisticated communications and data retrieval systems, and, as a group, had become the most dangerous and territorial animal on the Planet Earth.
Self and Other:
During this same period, humanity also had developed alternative strategies to his/her own personal and collective thinking. These strategies were mainly embedded in areas of thought labelled "religion", "philosophy", "art", "science", "sociology", "anthropology", and so on. On the one hand, these created fields of learning, supported humanities ability to observe, reason, invent, remember, and teach others. On the other hands, these created fields of learning also created doubt and questioning, and even maintained contradictory views. Until 1971, this was the basic First World environment of humanity.
When Worlds Collide: Stone Age and Industrial-technological.
Remember that in 1971, there were still Stone Age people living in various parts of the world including the South Pacific. If we go back 500 years, it is easy to prove that the majority of all humanity on the Planet Earth, were Stone Age people and who had adapted to their environment (including their own social environment) with a great deal of intelligence. The social, mental, and emotional struture of most (if not all of these) Stone Age groups was attacked, damaged, ripped apart, controlled, or utterly destroyed by the First World Caucasians of Great Britain and Europe and later of the United States of America and Russia. The Stone Age mind was practically picked up and forcefully thrown into an apolcalyptic brick wall called "Western Civilization" and later "Western Industrial-Technological Civilization".
This major mental and emotional group impact throws so many questions and doubts into the impacted culture, that, almost immediately, the culture begins to have quickly developed trends to:
1.) Return to the "good old days" and/or the "pre-cataclysmic event days"
2.) Place blame on some aspect or aspects of one or some or all of the socially weaker groups. This blame can lead to expressed bigotry, segregation, economic vertical hierarchies, caste systems, concentration camps, torture, and murder.
3.) Mindlessly embrace every new or startling thing that has appeared within the culture.
4.) Cautiously try to make sense out of what has happened, what is happening, and what may happen.
The results of a mixing of any or all of these processes or the use of any one of these processes, comes out of this personally upsetting and previously comforting environment , correctly have been attached to the phrases "You Can't Go Home Again" (Thomas Wolfe) and "Future Shock" (Alvin Toffler).
Often, in this type of situation, we take our new observations and connect them with our traditional "values" We use our past tools to do new, often inappropraited jobs, and we use our new tools to do old jobs inappropriate to the new tools, but fully still appropriate for the old tools. In many cases, automatically, we see the new through the eyes of the old and we are forced to see the old through the eyes of the new.
If this is not enough, individual people and groups of individual people will often mentally and quite often physically (situationally) as well, reenact a traunatic event in order to feel some personal relief and /or experience some regaining of power. This process is done by the person or persons in question without any or much conscious recognition of any part of this process and they can repeat this process many times, while never recognizing the true meaning of what they are doing. Specifically, this means that in the situation of the collision of two cultures or a collision of a culture with some new form of reality. The person or persons experiencing this can take the interpretations or misinterpretations based upon their knowledge of their past and their own reactive patterns in that past, use all this to define, explain, and create solution for the traumatic event and then recreate it in their own environment. This recreation can appear to be quite different and its ultimate function can reimpact the culture in a new and different manner.
Conservatively speaking, between the years 1492 AD and 1950, most Stone Age people suffered major cultural, social, mental, and physical cataclysm produced by the Caucasian culture. This cataclysm came from the physical "outside" and "mental "outside" world of the conquistadores, explorers, slavers,, and colonialists which included different cultural and religious mores, the slave trade, colonialism, superior tools and weapons, and from a land completely unknown, perhaps completely unthought about by the Stone Age people themselves. The Stone Age had entered the beginning of the Historic Period..
Between the years 1865 AD and 1971, the Caucasian Culture suffered the same major cultural, social, mental, and physical catclysm which was produced by their own attempt to control most or all of the planet. This cataclysm came from the "outside" world of the controlled, conquered, and enslaved producing uprising and personal safety problems, incredible amounts of mined ore, cheap or free labor, and massive agriculture (this is what slaves do), the colonist geographies which produced wildly abundant new resources (often free for the taking), industrialism going into such startling development that small groups of Caucasians became excessively powerful and even began to subtly enslave their own people. This process of massive slavery use coupled with maximizing profit from home-area labor by keeping working , living, and wage standards low, created tribal groups within western society, which then suffered from other groups deliberately or inadvertently producing sub-cultural cataclysm. Thus, these people were just as subject to a mental "outside" world attacking their personal values and demonstating the reality of tools which they could either not fully understand and oftern could not afford to own.
With these issues, we can see the two solutions of Communism and Capitalism occur as imperfect, often dangerous solutions to daily life created by different mental tribes.
Now the stage was set for the First World to loose its stability. Its major caltaclysmic disaster were the American Civil War, the Crimean War, World War I, the European, British, and American depressions, World War II, and the exploding of the Atom Bomb. The final cultural collapse was created by the twin engine the new publicness of psychedelic drugs an (1963)d the real and extraordinary event of the American Moon Landing (1971).
Psychedelic drugs destroyed the "sure and certain hope" doctrine that the human imagination was only a toy, that humans really truly understand their own human mind, that religious spirituality was more profound than a personally or publicly stated belief system, that materialism ultimately could not be a source of power and happiness, and that, although badly and wrongly talked about, and just as often lied about and misunderstood, nevertheless, what we call the "supernatural" world was real. Further, we had become so culturally smug about Western reeligion, that we were totally unprepared for this revelation.
The American Moon Landing destroyed the Ptolomaic Geokentron or long held physical, and scientific belief, and finally only the strong emotional personal sense that the Planet Earth was the center of the universe in not physically, but in a strong, fuzzy "every=other-way" and in some cases definitely in the Western and Eastern religious sense. When Neil Armstrong put his first footprint on the Moon, the entire world, especially the First World, lost forever, their own geocentric emotional security.
Finally, the slaves and slaveholders, the First, Third, and Fourth World were on one basis of equality. For different reasons in different cultures, this scared a lot of people. The umbilichus to the human past was gone. At the same time, the human past was better known than ever before. Modern electronc media was destroying full reliance on linear thought and modern media was in the final stages of destroying the possibility of any future use or belief in any linear historical process. The First World had entered the first phase of The Post-Historic Period.
The choice for both The Stone Age World and The First World was simple. Self-destruct or evolve - and evolve quickly without too many mistakes and with a lessened sense of tribal, racial, or monetary exclusivity. Former slave and former master had both lost their created identities. Gender identities had become one-dimensional. Women were breeders, nurses, and cooks. Men were messengers, carriers, and killers.
Thus whether in the South Seas or in the First World, cultural groups had:
1.) Lost their close connection to their own past history.
2.) Lost their ability to remain culturally or geographically isolated.
3.) Lost their own past interpretation of any and all of their own religions.
4.) Lost their own interpretation and past use of money or whatever they used as a means and/or symbol of exchange.
5.) Lost their own past (and long in existence) relationship to any form of land and water.
6.) Lost some privacy.
7.) Lost their ability to utilize time itself according to their own individual likes, dislikes, and scheduling.
8.) Lost exclusivity over all of their own cultural information.
9.) Lost their ability to define the borders of their own reality.
10.) Gained many loan words, slang words, and speech patterns from the languages of other foreign, incompletely understood cultures.
11.) Gained knowledge from other cultures which was fascinating, or frightening or incomprehensible or incompletely understood or some combination of these.
12.) Gained a sense of globalism.
13.) Now lived in a world which was conscious of their own consciousness of discontinuity.
Ogum Consaine and the Later Tifinag: The First Graphics of Arithmetic and Language.
Ogum is an alphabet not a language. The Journal of the Royal Historical and Archeological Association of Ireland by George Mouncey Atkinson; Dublin; Ireland; 1874, lists the following variants of this word as: Ogan, Ogma, Ogum, Oghuim, Ogaim, Oghaim. Another variant spelling used in the 19th century is Ogham.
As we investigate Ogum Consaine and its later Tifinag Alphabet, we find ourselves looking at the ending of the prehistoric period or the intermediate period between the last days of our prehistory and the first days of our history.
This period of the first creations of a system for maintaining specific records, quite easily could have been a period of immense emotional upheaval, much in the same way that many tribal natives in the last two centuries have been alarmed, confused, and metaphysically frightened by having their picture taken with a camera and then seeing the results. This period, which probably was brief by prehistorical standards, might have lasted 5,000 years. Who knows? It is doubtful whether we will ever find any direct evidence of a time-line. But it was a conceptual breakthrough less publicized than the invention of the wheel (which came later) but perhaps even more important.
Such stories that we usually know as The Expulsion From the Garden of Eden and The Tower of Babel may well be part of an oral tradition of cultural trauma that finds its roots in the development and use of Ogum Consaine and the latter Tifinag Alphabet.
It is probably during this period that the concept of the Apocalypse was first born: the concept of a destruction of an entire way of life and its simultaneous reconstruction by remarkable means, producing a vastly superior society.
Ogum has been discovered, dated, and placed as follows:
ca 2200 BC: Windmill Hill, Wiltshire, England: An inscription.
ca. 2000-1900 BC: Northern Syria; Asia Minor: Various Hittite inscriptions.
ca. 1700 BC: Peterborough Petroglyph Site, Perterborough, Ontario, Canada: An inscription.
ca. 1160-1146 BC: Valley of the Kings, opposite Luxor on the West Bank of the Nile River, Egypt: a Ramses VI tomb inscription.
ca. 1145-322 BC: Egypt: Various inscriptions.
ca. 384-322 BC: Athens, Greece: Ogum writing used by the Greek Philosopher, Plato.
1977 AD: Libya, North Africa: Limited use of Ogum by native peoples, observed by Professor Barry Fell of Harvard University, while lecturing in Libya.
ca. 1977 AD: Sweden, various areas: Limited use of Ogum by local people observed by Professor Barry Fell of Harvard University.
Ogum is a series of short line arranged as branches from a visual line (or trunk) or an imagined line (or trunk). Here we have what is probably the oldest graphic language which was used both for basic arithmatical and verbal transmission. At the same time, Ogum bears a remarkable resemblance to both binary numbers and to circuitry. Today the only actively used language which has both numberic and verbal levels symbolized within its graphics is classical Hebrew.
With the birth of Ogum, humanity could begin the process of storing its own memories of events and ideas as well as standardizing and remembering its arithmetic measurements. Now humanity was quite aware of past present and future time and was thinking about it. The past, no longer had to be yesterday or a long time ago. It could be 12 sunrises ago or 12 full moons ago or 12 winters ago. The present was no longer forever.
With some accuracy of detail, the present could be seen and measured, slipping into the past and being the past. A different present time kept presenting itself to humanity's expanded consciousness of time. There were present times which had not arrived yet - these were the future. It could not have taken very long, perhaps more than a minute and less than 1,000 years, but once this was truly understood, then the concept of present time had to have shrunk immediately to a split second or perhaps nothing. Anticipating the future was power, remembering the past was organization.
Those who did not anticipate the future or who could not literally measure the length or strength of some aspect of daily reality, or did not remeber the landmarks of their past would probably suffer and perhaps, not even survive. Those who could do all these things had a much better chance of survival. Those who could do these (then) sophisticated acts of time differentiation, would have been susceptible to awe, because they would have some direct insight into how much more powerful they were and how much better protected they were.
One could guess that at first, it felt as though the new knowledge amazingly, just appeared. Then this knowledge would be jealously and perhaps, paranoidally covetted and hidden. But then, where did this knowledge come from? A Superior Force! A superior force which is both inside and outside of the individual mind. This must be the same force which is responsible for everything! This superior force was studied, loved, worshipped, placated, "borrowed", "stolen", ignored, or hated. Other people had their own personal and differentiated (by time, place, and tribe) experiences of these (then) sophisticated acts of time differentiation. They, too, would have been susceptible to awe, because, they, also, would have had some direct insight into how much more powerful they were and how much better protected they were. But their Superior Force had to be a different Superior Force and the real one as opposed to the false one. At this point, their now existed the ground of being for polytheism (incorrect but peaceful tribal interrelations) and montheism (correct but possibly waring tribal relations). Quite often, each superior force had its own name. The human race was now consciously aware of the concept of God. Sometimes this God-concept was feared. Things could and did go wrong and often worse than in the past. Sometimes this God-concept was loved. Things could and did go right and often better than in the remembered past. The tension between these two polarities of worse and better became more and more a sophisticated knowledge. Any bipolar system which is continually observed will produce a wealth of sophisticated and detailed thought, some of which will turn out to be knowledge, and some of that, may even exist as wisdom. The God-concept was the tool of conscious progress, power, safety, and development.
But now a new question arose: What was the limit of knowledge and power of the Superior Force? It seems that no matter how much we learn, there is more to learn and no matter how much we learn, we learn that we actually know less than we thought we did. In succession, at some point, the human mind realized the possibility of Infinite Knowledge equaling Infinite Power equaling Infinite Creation Into the Future. This experience was entirely real.
Did anyone doubt their own experiences during the period of the Old and New Stone Age? There was not enough knowledge and communications to create the kind of doubt which one experiences as doubting one's own immediate external and internal experiences. Certainly, at times, there was confusion, fear, anger, poor judgement, traumatic shock, and psychophysical response to injuries or poisoning as well as disbelief as to what some other said or did or said they did, but doubt of experience, may be a relatively new phenomena within the human mind as a common and shared reality.
. Mankind had reached the point where it could conceptiualize God and could conceptualize
Mankind had personally experienced infinity, wonder, and fear - all together a changing and developing world/universe. Mankind had watched its own knowledge be stored and accumulate. Was there an ultimate place to which the path of one's own knowledge led? And if reaching that place, would not that imply a much greater closeness to the Superior Force and would not this mean a series of changes beyond any current knowledge? At this point in time, did this place of closeness to the Superior Force become the first glimmerings of what would come to be collectively called the “The Will/Word/Voice of God”,“Heaven”, “The Promised Land“, “Source of Morality“ “Morality (as opposed to Ethics), “The Promised Land“, “The Chosen People“, “Those Whose Sins are Washed Away“, and/or “Holiness“? And did this series of Changes beyond any current knowledge become the first mental confliction of “Knowing that One Possesses ’Not-Knowing’ as well as ’Knowing’ “, that “Much Process is Invisible to the Eye, the Mind, the Corporal Body, and the Memory”; that in reality all Origins and Endings are not Perceived, or Known, or Understood, and even their Existence Itself is in Doubt .
And finally, that this Confliction created its own secondary elaborations, sublimations, inner deceptions, and fears and became part of a psychology which ruled the influential cultures of the Fertile Crescent and Middle East and due to the Primal Cultural Secondary Elaboration which we call “Fear and Paranoia” , a Collective Mental Illness” created itself and it is what we, today, call Apocalypse.
It seems as though all current studies on the mind are based primarily on some “tinkered” view of Etienne LeMaitre’s L’Homme Machine, originally published in 17?????. The primary assumption is that “Mind” can only exist in 4 dimensions and that the mind we each use, is the “full” Mind available to us, that mind has to be an intrinsic part of the human body, and cannot exist inany way whatsoever without the body.
Further referencing LeMaitre, the current view that the mind is a general purpose mechanism (or machine) functioning within the hardware of a bio-electric super computer.
Others argue that the human mind is “not that” but “almost that” by saying that the human mind is a multi-linked series of dedicated modules aka “cognitive domains” which create and/or react to and evolve within certain behaviours or patterns. Yet again, some say that these modules are either 2 or many and are “hard-wired” in “some” way.
While it is a small step forward to accept the idea that all human minds can and do use specialized thought – the concept is not new, it goes back to at least 1,000,000 BC with the first forms of Olduwan pebble tools. Its “kinda as though, ya need to know this crap, in order to make the damn tool!”
From William James to Bessel van der Kolk, we have learned that there IS neurological specialization in humans, but while they can show me a human brain in a lab dish and cut pieces off of it for legitimate tests, I can respond with what a Tibetan Buddhist monk named Kargyul, once told me. He simply said: “Show me your Mind!” Obviously, it cannot be done and yet it exists.
In such disciplines as Tantric and Zen meditations, one can actually, consciously observe their own mind as a luminosity without any content. This function does not fit comfortably into any of our current systems for explaining Human Mind.
Basically, we humans, know nothing about Our Minds.
In fact, we cannot say authoritatively that That Mind We Use Every Moment of Every Day – that Mind – is Me, or You, or Us.
“Like some long caravan bearing merchandise of sorts, the tales of a writer wind through the desert of indifference towards the oasis of public favour. Whether they ever arrive or drift to death among the shifting sands of popular taste, lies on the knees of the gods – the author has no say. When he has mustered and sent them forth, he may retire and squat afresh on the carpet of vision, having done all he can.”
John Galsworthy: Caravan; 1925
3rd BREATHING: WALK INTO THE CIRCLE
We prepare the mental and psychological ground for moving into the realm of a different form of perception and at the same time protect ourselves from interferences.
One should visualize being in the center of a Pentagram and then visualize that Yourself within the Pentagram is All within an Egg-shaped Form of Clear Transparent Light. To create the proper visualization of Clear Transparent Light, visualize a Cone of Light fully intersecting with a Cone of Dark (see Nicholas of Cusa and others).
That’s all that needs to be done.
The question is often asked: How can one believe in many Gods and Goddesses, and forces of every kind? Isn’t it more reasonable to believe in One God?
Let us assume that before the Universe existed, there was indeed an Omnipotent Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force. To be The Omnipotent, Monomorphic God, It would have to be Totally Transcendental. If Monomorphic God were totally Transcendental, then this Supreme God would be in a state of total transcendence of existence and non-existence. Thus, This God would automatically transcend Itself. If This God is then Totally transcendent, then it would have automatically transcended Everything, including the Need to Exist in both Any and All Forms, Beings, and Times.
Frederich Neitzsche anticipated this view in his famous statement: “God is Dead”
This could be the metaphysical explanation of the “Big Bang” Theory of the creation of the Universe. And so we are all equally parts of a Supreme God’s creation and covalent in actual worth with any deity. Within their religion, the members of The Religious Society of Friends called Quakers make the statement that there is a part of this Monomorphic God in every one of us, they really mean it.
What most Christian are not looking at is that “The Original Crucifixion” was A Monomorphic Supreme Power Transcending Itself and it is quite likely that this was the original teaching of the Nazerean Issa’s teaching which later was fundamentalized into the story of his murder or escape from public life.
So we live in a Divine Environment and most of us are in a permanent state of shock one we have even the smallest realization that the is so. There is much excellent discussion in Martin Buber’s I and Other, even while Supreme Generational Multi-Level Force continues to closely hold the view of monotheism.
It is important to extend the accepted definition of individualism into newly discovered pathways and merge these extensions with what has already been discovered.
